On March 20, 2026, the district stage of the "Mereyli Ustaz" competition among teachers was held.

8 teachers from the district participated in the competition.

The goals of the competition:
➖ enhancing the professional prestige of teachers and supporting them;
➖ raising the social and public status of educators;
➖ identifying and supporting creatively working teachers;
➖ contributing to the spiritual renewal of society.

According to the competition results:
1st place — primary school teacher of KGU "Semiyarskaya Secondary School" Kozhibekovna Aidana Yeskendirovna;
 2nd place — Kazakh language and literature teacher of KGU "Sosnovskaya Secondary School" Gubaydullina Galiya Akparovna;
 3rd place — Kazakh language and literature teacher of KGU "Secondary School named after Kairat Ryskulbekov" Shekezhanova Zhansaya Amangeldiyevna;
 3rd place — physics teacher of KGU "Bodenelinskaya Secondary School" Makisheva Madina Yerbolatkyzy.
