Riyadh, April 7, 2026 – Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Madiyar Menilbekov held a meeting with Abdulrahman Al Fadley, Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture of the Kingdom.

During the negotiations, the parties discussed prospects for bilateral cooperation in the fields of ecology, water resources, and agriculture. Particular attention was paid to sustainable development, as well as the exchange of experience in effective water resource management.

In the context of the current geopolitical situation in the Middle East, the sides considered opportunities for cooperation in agriculture and strengthening food security. They also discussed the prospects for the participation of Saudi companies in Kazakhstan’s agro-industrial sector.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to further strengthen Kazakh-Saudi ties.
