On April 10, 2026, the IX Conference of the East Kazakhstan Regional Branch of the Republican Public Association "Veterans' Organization" was held in the regional center with the participation of the region's Akim, Nurymbet Saktaganov.

During the event, the results of work for the reporting period were summarized and tasks for the upcoming stage were defined.

A report was delivered by the Chairman of the Regional Veterans' Council, A. Sherubayev, who presented detailed information on the organization's activities during the reporting period.

The meeting addressed current issues regarding the activities of the Regional Veterans' Council of the East Kazakhstan Region and identified priority areas of work.

Following the meeting, participants adopted proposals aimed at further improving the activities of the veterans' organization.
