The Kazakhstan delegation headed by Deputy Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan Dauren Kenbeil, is taking part in the 11th Moscow Financial Forum which is being held at the Manege Central Exhibition Hall.

The Moscow Financial Forum is an annual professional platform for discussing pressing issues related to financial and economic policy, the development of public finances, and the financial market. The forum has been held since 2016 and brings together representatives of government bodies, financial institutions, businesses, and the scientific and expert communities. The organizers are the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation and the Government of Moscow.

The main theme of the forum in 2026 is: “A sustainable financial system — the foundation for national development.” The business programme includes a plenary session and 16 thematic sessions covering issues of budgetary sustainability, financial market development, attracting investment, digital transformation of public administration, the use of artificial intelligence, and improving financial mechanisms to support the economy. Dauren Kenbeil, Vice Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan, took part in the forum’s key plenary session. The discussion focuses on approaches to developing a sustainable financial policy in the context of global uncertainty, improving the efficiency of budget expenditures, and creating mechanisms that promote structural transformation and long‑term economic development.

Representatives of the Kazakh delegation are also taking part in the forum’s thematic and expert sessions. The agenda includes international financial cooperation, development of investment cooperation, implementation of automation and artificial intelligence technologies in the field of public procurement, as well as issues related to regional development and budgetary sustainability. Participation in the Moscow Financial Forum provides an opportunity to exchange experience and professional practices in the field of public finance management, discuss modern approaches to the digitalization of financial processes, and strengthen cooperation with foreign colleagues.
