Daily raids are conducted in Kostanay to comply with the rules of landscaping with the participation of employees of the akimat and the police. Special attention is paid to the maintenance of building facades, entrances, signage and adjacent areas.

Previously, this work was mainly preventive in nature. Explanatory work was carried out with representatives of businesses, enterprises and organizations, often limited to warnings. However, practice has shown that this is not enough. Currently, the approach has been revised — fundamental measures are being taken for repeated violations, and compliance control has been strengthened.

In 2025 alone, 4,758 property owners were held accountable. At the same time, real fines were applied only in 34 cases, which is only 0.7%. Since the beginning of this year, 1,790 administrative materials have been compiled, 8 of which have already been fined in the amount of more than 800 thousand tenge.

The aesthetic appearance of the city is a shared responsibility. Owners need to pay attention to the condition of their facilities and put them in order.
