On April 14, 2026, the East Kazakhstan Regional Scientific and Methodological Center for Informatization and Development of Education held a regional workshop-seminar on the topic "Enhancing the Potential of Support Schools — An Impetus for the Development of Rural Schools" within the framework of the project "Aul Mektebi — Quality Platform".

The main goal of the workshop-seminar was to familiarize participants with the possibilities of artificial intelligence and digital technologies in the educational process, demonstrate effective ways of their application in teaching natural science disciplines, and enhance the digital competence of teachers.

The support school, KGU "Kha. Mustafina School-Lyceum," and the small-class schools attached to it presented effective pedagogical experience by conducting online lessons in natural sciences, mathematics, and English using the Google Meet video conference platform.

Special attention was paid to the use of artificial intelligence in the educational process, and teachers demonstrated their readiness for interactive lesson organization using modern digital tools.

170 teachers from the region participated in the seminar.
