On April 16, 2026, Ambassador-at-Large – Head of the Representative Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Almaty Zhanibek Abdrashov participated and delivered a speech at the international scientific conference titled "Community of Shared Future for Kazakhstan and China: Prospects for Comprehensive Cooperation in the New Geopolitical Realities," held at the Kazakh-German University. In his speech, the Head of the Representative Office emphasized that relations between the two countries have entered a stable "golden era," evidenced by the operation of over 8,000 companies with Chinese capital in Kazakhstan and the successful alignment with the "Belt and Road" initiative. During the event, particular focus was placed on deepening cooperation in green energy and digitalization, as well as international coordination to ensure regional stability.
