On 17 April 2026, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev took part in the opening ceremony of the Antalya Diplomatic Forum held in Antalya. Leaders and heads of delegations from a number of countries also participated in the event. The Forum has traditionally served as a high-level international platform for political dialogue, bilateral and multilateral contacts, as well as informal diplomacy.

As part of the Forum, the Head of State spoke at the panel session titled “Mapping Tomorrow, Managing Uncertainties,” where he shared his vision of the key international challenges. The President of Kazakhstan emphasized the importance of strategic restraint, the need to reform the United Nations, particularly the Security Council, and also noted the growing role of middle powers in addressing global issues. He paid special attention to the situation in the Middle East, calling for greater focus on negotiations and on the issue of the non-proliferation of nuclear technologies.
