Today, in the Karmakshy district, a large-scale public clean-up campaign titled “Let Sacred Places Be Clean: Spirituality and Cleanliness Are Inseparable” was organized within the framework of the national environmental initiative “Taza Kazakhstan”.

The meaningful event aimed at preserving the cleanliness of historical and cultural monuments and sacred sites, and passing them on to future generations as a legacy, saw active participation from members of the intelligentsia, veterans, staff of departments and institutions, non-governmental organizations, youth, and volunteers.

During the campaign, landscaping, waste collection, and greening works were carried out around monuments, sacred places, and burial sites across the district. Fences were repaired, and additional efforts were made to improve the surrounding areas.

Overall, nearly 200 sacred sites across the region were covered during the large-scale campaign, including about 45 sites in the district, with the participation of more than 2,000 residents.

As the President noted: “Cleanliness is a reflection not only of the environment but also of spiritual culture.”

Respecting the past means valuing the future. Therefore, let us protect our monuments and preserve our history!
