In 2025, all categories of farms in the region produced 89,5 thousand tons of meat (in slaughter weight), or 105.7% compared to 2024, 315,8 thousand tons of milk of all kinds (106.4%, respectively), 58.3 million eggs (99.5%), 0.5 thousand tons of honey (107.7%), 2.1 thousand tons of wool (99.7%). The increase in meat production was accompanied by an increase in sales of poultry(by 5,5%), horse meat (by 4.4%), and beef (by 6.6%). The increase in milk production is provided by the increase in the herd of cows.

The main producers of meat in live weight (about 80.8% of the volume of this product) were the farms of seven regions: Semey (11.6 thousand tons), Abaisky (34.8 thousand tons), Zhanasemey (25.1 thousand tons), Zharminsky (18.0 thousand tons),  Ayagozsky (17.6 thousand tons), Aksuat (11.4 thousand tons), Makanchi (10,7 thousand tons) districts. More than half of the milk volumes were produced by farms of Abaisky (45.3 thousand tons), Zharminsky (39.2 thousand tons),  Beskaragaisky (36.5 thousand tons), Borodylikha (34.7 thousand tons) and Urdzhar (32.3 thousand tons) districts. Farms in six districts produced 80% of eggs: Borodulikhinsky (11.4 million pieces), Urdzharsky (10.9 million pieces), Kokpektinsky (6.9 million pieces), Zhanasemey (6.6 million pieces), Makanchi (5.3 million pieces) and Beskaragaisky (5.1 million pieces).  Honey production is concentrated in Urdzharsky (128.5 tons), Makanchi (113.3 tons), Borodylikha (110,5 tons) Beskaragai (41.0 tons)  districts and the city of Semey (40.0 tons), they own about 90% of the volume of this production in the region.

Production of livestock products – production of finished products and raw materials as a result of the use of farm animals (milk, eggs, wool, hides, etc.), slaughter on the farm or sale for slaughter of all types of livestock and poultry, beekeeping products and fur farming.

Slaughtered on the farm or sold for slaughter of livestock and poultry – the slaughter of livestock and poultry directly on the farm or at the slaughterhouse for the use of meat for their own needs, for sale or delivery to organizations, enterprises and farm workers, including through barter transactions, as well as the sale of livestock and poultry for slaughter to procurement organizations, processing enterprises, through a public catering network (canteens, restaurants, cafes), a retail network, including markets, as well as for export.

Milk production is characterized by actually produced cow's, sheep's, goat's, camel's, mare's milk, regardless of whether it was sold or part of it was consumed on the farm for drinking calves and piglets. Milk sucked by calves during their suckling content is not included in the products and is not taken into account when calculating the productivity of cows.
