Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the Holy See Meets with the Ambassador of Hungary

On April 20, 2026, the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Holy See hosted a meeting between the Ambassador of Kazakhstan, Timur Primbetov, and the Ambassador of Hungary to the Holy See, Péter Kveck.

The Kazakh diplomat extended his congratulations to his Hungarian counterpart on the recent presentation of his letters of credence, wishing him success in his diplomatic endeavors within the Holy See.

During the discourse, both parties spoke highly of the current state of Kazakh-Hungarian cooperation and engaged in an exchange of views regarding pertinent issues on the international and regional agendas.

Ambassador Timur Primbetov apprised his colleague of the comprehensive political reforms currently being implemented in the Republic of Kazakhstan. These measures are designed to modernize the public administration system and fortify democratic institutions. Particular emphasis was placed on the adoption of the new Constitution, as well as Kazakhstan’s initiatives to foster interreligious dialogue, most notably the hosting of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions.

For his part, Péter Kveck shared insights into Hungary’s experience in engaging with the Holy See and the Sovereign Military Order of Malta.

The meeting was characterized by a cordial and amicable atmosphere. In conclusion, the interlocutors agreed to sustain a constructive dialogue on matters of mutual interest.
