On 15-16 April, 2026, with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Serik Amirov, Special Representative of the Foreign Trade Chamber of Kazakhstan in the ASEAN countries, visited Da Nang. During the trip, a round table was organized with the participation of the leadership of the National Association of Entrepreneurship (VINEN) and representatives of the business community of Vietnam.

During the discussion, it was noted that 2026 is the "golden age" for the investment market in Vietnam: expert assessments indicate the formation of a more sustainable investment cycle.

For reference: The Socialist Republic of Vietnam is the leader in gross domestic product growth among the ASEAN countries. The country's economy grew by 7.83% in the 1st quarter of 2026. The goal of achieving a per capita income of $8,500 by 2030 has been set as an important milestone. Small and medium-sized enterprises form the backbone of the country's economy. Currently, they account for about 95% of all operating enterprises, they provide almost 50% of GDP, about 30% of total state budget revenues and create about 40% of all jobs in the economy.

During the round table, Serik Amirov noted that in modern conditions, Kazakhstan has significant potential and the opportunity to position itself as a "B2B Bridge" in the Central Asian region for establishing joint production and distribution of goods.

Companies such as IRC - Investment Promotion Center for Central Vietnam, VIDANANG, Bridgent, Song Hoai Ceramics Co. Ltd, Dong Dinh Art Museum, Lingble, and others took part in the discussion.

In turn, VINEN Chairman Dinh Viet Hoa noted the importance of exchanging experience and exploring the market of digitalization of the economy and the development of artificial intelligence, and also suggested organizing joint training programs at universities in the Republic of Kazakhstan. In particular, the Vietnamese side is very interested in Kazakhstan's experience in creating the AIFC and cooperation with the local International Financial Center VIFC-HCMC, which was launched on February 11 this year.

According to Le Ming Son, Director of the IPC Central Vietnam Investment Attraction Center, such meetings and business missions provide a very convenient platform for more targeted and systematic interaction between the business circles of the two countries.

At the same time, Harley Huin, head of the digital innovation company Bridgent, expressed her willingness to support the exchange of experience and scaling of Kazakhstani IT projects in the Vietnamese market.

As a result of the discussion, agreements were reached on further elaboration of joint projects in the field of clothing and footwear production, fruit processing, tourism, digitalization, education, logistics, etc., as well as the preparation and signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation with the National Association of Entrepreneurship of Vietnam (VINEN).
