On April 20, the East Kazakhstan Regional Library for Children and Youth hosted a large-scale event, «Bibliotonight 2026», which brought readers together for an evening of creativity, music, interactive activities, and live communication. On this day, the library was transformed into a vibrant cultural hub for the whole family.

Guests were invited to embark on a journey through various themed zones, designed to evoke nothing but positive emotions. A photo zone was set up in the foyer for memorable pictures, and nearby there were atmospheric areas - the «Explosion of Emotions» café and the «Room of Joy», which created a festive mood and encouraged social interaction. Creative participants were offered art therapy sessions, dream map creation and a master class titled «Dasturden tys suret salu». Lovers of history and mysteries took part in an immersive walk called «Olke tylsymy», where the library unfolded as a space of discovery and fresh impressions. The creative journey proceeded to the second floor, where workshops were held on felt-making, speech apparatus development, and craft-based interactive games.

The literary and musical labyrinth «Soz saulesi» was in operation, while the modern interactive programme ‘Emotions of Heroes: The Magic of Recognition’ combined artificial intelligence technologies with reading in an unusual format. A special atmosphere was created by the traditional youth gathering «Bastangy» held in a yurt located in the meadow near the library - a space for communication and for getting acquainted with the finest works of Kazakh literature.

The event became a vivid example of promoting reading, supporting creative initiatives, and fostering an open cultural environment for the city’s residents.
