In accordance with the work plan of the RSE "East Kazakhstan Regional Scientific and Methodological Center for Informatization and Development of Education "ÖRKEN" of the Education Department of the East Kazakhstan Region for 2026, an oblast seminar-workshop for teachers of preschool organizations was held on April 24 of this year on the topic: "Ways of Applying Innovative STEAM Technologies in Preschool Upbringing and Education".

The goal of the event — to enhance the professional competence of teachers by familiarizing them with effective methods of applying innovative STEAM technologies in the process of preschool upbringing and education, as well as to disseminate experience aimed at developing children's research, creative, and logical skills.

During the seminar-workshop, experienced teachers from the "Shyghys Baldyrghan" LLP kindergarten in Ust-Kamenogorsk shared advanced practices, discussed modern approaches, and current issues in the educational process. Furthermore, teachers from private kindergartens in the oblast exchanged opinions, proposed effective ideas for improving kindergarten activities, and presented best practices for interacting with parents.

A musical performance titled "My Kindergarten with Deep Roots and Meaningful History", dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the "Shyghys Baldyrghan" LLP kindergarten, was also presented, and an exhibition on the theme "Father's Craft is a Heritage for the Child" was organized, showcasing traditional ancient crafts of the Kazakh people.

Following the event, participants noted the importance of cooperation within the teaching community and had the opportunity to strengthen professional connections through the exchange of experience and knowledge. The seminar-workshop was attended by 70 teachers.
