n the Bastaushi Rural District, a solemn gathering titled "No One is Forgotten, Nothing is Forgotten" was held on May 9 at the Veterans’ Memorial to commemorate the 81st anniversary of the Great Victory. During the commemorative event, participants paid tribute to the souls of the fallen heroes who sacrificed their lives for the Motherland and honored the extraordinary bravery of frontline soldiers and home front workers. Attendees laid floral tributes at the foot of the monument and observed a minute of silence.

The primary objective of the event was to instill a sense of patriotism in the younger generation, revive historical memory, and emphasize the profound value of a peaceful life. Following the ceremony, a tree-planting initiative was carried out in the courtyard of Abay Secondary School. This activity was part of the "Taza Qazaqstan" national environmental campaign, initiated by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

Local residents, teachers, and youth actively participated in this noble cause aimed at nurturing nature, each contributing to the flourishing and beautification of their native land.
