On May 13, 2026, a staff meeting chaired by Acting Akim of Zhanaozen Maksat Mukash was held. During the meeting, the progress of preparations for the 2026–2027 autumn-winter season was reviewed.

During the meeting, Adilet Sami, Director of the municipal enterprise “ÖzenInvest,” reported on the planned works related to the repair of external water supply and sewerage networks, wastewater treatment, and maintenance activities at the city’s water treatment facilities. In particular, current repairs of drinking water supply and sewerage networks are planned in the “Shugyla,” “Bostandyk,” “Mamyr,” and “Koktem” residential districts, as well as along several city streets. In addition, the necessary technical modernization and repair works will be carried out at pumping stations and water treatment facilities in Kyzylsai village.

Adilbek Rubilov, Chief Engineer of the коммунal enterprise “ÖzenZhylu,” informed participants about the progress of preparations for the 2026–2027 heating season. According to him, the previous heating season proceeded in a regular mode, and residents as well as social facilities were steadily supplied with heat. Currently, comprehensive works are underway to modernize boiler houses, replace heating networks, conduct hydraulic testing, and improve engineering systems. In addition, backup diesel generators are being installed at small boiler houses, while projects for the modernization of heating networks are being implemented in stages.

During the meeting, Bagdat Turlybek, Director of the municipal enterprise “Taza Zhanaozen,” reported on the enterprise’s activities in the field of sanitary cleaning and urban improvement. At present, the enterprise is carrying out regular sanitary cleaning of city streets, maintenance of roadside areas, waste removal, and landscaping works. In addition, issues related to expanding the fleet of special equipment, modernizing container sites, and attracting additional workforce were discussed.

During the meeting, current issues in the public utilities sector and the implementation progress of infrastructure projects were discussed. Specific instructions were given to the responsible institutions to ensure the timely and high-quality completion of preparations for the autumn-winter season.
