The Department of the Committee for Technical Regulation and Metrology of the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the Aktobe Region conducted an unscheduled inspection of an individual entrepreneur engaged in the sale of crushed stone.
The inspection was carried out based on information from the Department of Economic Investigations for the Aktobe Region.
During the control measures, it was established that the entrepreneur sold crushed stone in the amount of 2,349,725 tons for a sum of 396,947,895 tenge without having a certificate of conformity.
It should be noted that crushed stone is one of the main building materials and is widely used in the construction of residential buildings, social facilities, including schools and preschool institutions. In this regard, compliance with technical regulation requirements is of great importance for ensuring the safety and quality of construction products.
Based on the inspection results:
- an order was issued to eliminate the identified violations;
- an administrative fine of 421,000 tenge was imposed under Article 415 (subparagraph 2, paragraph 1) of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The Department reminds of the need for strict compliance with the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of technical regulation. The availability of documents confirming the conformity of products to established requirements is a mandatory condition for placing products into circulation and their sale on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
