Employees of the minimum security facility of the Department of the Penal Correction system in the Abai region held a charity event "Our strength is in unity" aimed at providing targeted assistance to single pensioners living in the region.                      The initiative was implemented within the framework of the social responsibility of the staff of the penal correction system and became a manifestation of sincere concern for the representatives of the older generation. During the campaign, food baskets with essential goods were formed and handed over.

              Special attention was paid to pensioners living alone, who, due to their age and health status, need additional support. The staff of the institution personally visited the elderly, asked about their well-being, living conditions and urgent needs. For many of them, the meeting was not only an opportunity to get the necessary help, but also an occasion for live communication.

            The main purpose of the campaign is to provide social support to lonely elderly citizens, strengthen the principles of mutual assistance and charity, as well as to form a respectful attitude towards the older generation in society.                 Holding such events contributes to the development of humanistic values, strengthening public confidence in law enforcement agencies and bringing together a team of employees.

         — Taking care of the older generation is our common responsibility. We consider it important not only to perform official tasks in good faith, but also to take an active part in the public life of the region. Support for single pensioners is a manifestation of human participation and respect for those who have dedicated their lives to work and the development of the country. I am sure that such initiatives will be continued in the future," said Rustem Berlibekov, Deputy head of the institution.

           — Attention is especially valuable nowadays. When people come to you, they are interested in your health, and they support you with kind words, it gives you strength. Thanks to the staff of the institution for their care and respect. It feels like we haven't been forgotten," the pensioner shared.

            The institution stressed that the action "Our strength is in unity" has become an example of team cohesion and the desire to contribute to the support of socially vulnerable categories of citizens. Employees intend to continue to participate in charitable and social projects aimed at strengthening mutual assistance and unity in society.
