Budapest, April 14, 2026 – The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Hungary, Abzal Saparbekuly, held a meeting with Mr. Oleg Yermilov, Director of the leading Hungarian tourism company “1000 Roads.”

During the meeting, the Hungarian side highly appreciated the dynamic development of bilateral cooperation, including in the field of tourism. It was also noted that there is a growing interest in Hungary in the tourism potential of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In this context, particular importance is attached to the launch of a direct flight on the Shymkent–Budapest route by SCAT Airlines, which creates additional opportunities for expanding tourism exchanges.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for implementing joint initiatives aimed at further developing tourism cooperation, as well as increasing the flow of Hungarian tourists to Kazakhstan.
