On 21 May Mr Jandos Asanov, Deputy Chairman of the Kazakhstan Agency of International Development “KazAID”, met with Mr Valery Freland, Executive Director of the International Alliance for the Protection of Cultural Heritage (ALIPH), during the latter’s visit to Kazakhstan. The meeting was of an introductory nature.

During the conversation the parties briefed each other of the main areas of their work. KazAID representatives presented to ALIPH delegation an information on the Agency’s activities for 2026 and the interaction with partner countries as well as similiar international development agencies of other countries.

J.Asanov made emphasis on the issues related to water management and food security.

The parties agreed to explore opportunities for joint activities and projects.
