Astana, September 19, 2026 – Staff members of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan took part in a city-wide community clean-up in Astana organized as part of the large-scale national environmental campaign “Taza Qazaqstan”.

The event brought together representatives of government bodies, organizations and residents of the capital, who jointly carried out clean-up and landscaping activities in designated areas. Staff of the foreign ministry actively participated in cleaning the area adjacent to the Ministry’s building.

Taking part in the clean-up, the diplomats emphasized that environmental protection is not only a responsibility addressed through government programmes, but also a personal responsibility of every citizen.

“Taza Qazaqstan” campaign is held on a regular basis and aims to promote environmental awareness among the population, foster responsible attitudes towards the environment, and strengthen traditions of cleanliness, order and community improvement in Kazakhstan. Such initiatives help unite citizens around a common goal and raise the level of environmental responsibility.
