May 15, 2026, Astana – A meeting was held between the Chairman of the Board of KazAID, A. Arystanov, and the Vice Provost of Michigan State University (MSU), Professor T. Awokuse, Director of the Center for Eurasian Studies, Professor V. Tarabara, and other representatives of MSU.

During the meeting, MSU representatives presented information about the university's educational programs in the fields of medicine, science and research, environment, and agriculture. They also initiated a proposal to establish a joint virtual academy in the field of water diplomacy for partner countries.

The parties discussed opportunities for cooperation and the implementation of joint projects. They also considered the possibility of signing a memorandum of cooperation between the two organisations.
