In honor of the celebration of the World Day of Non-Governmental Organizations, as well as in order to strengthen cooperation with civil society institutions and increase the level of cooperation with non-governmental organizations, a round table was organized in the Department of the Ministry of Civil Protection for the Abai region with representatives of the Ak-niet Public Foundation.

        During the meeting, the participants discussed issues of further cooperation, the implementation of joint social projects and support for initiatives aimed at the development of civil society in the region.

         Abai Galymzhan Baltabayev, Head of the Regional Department of the Ministry of Civil Protection, presented memorable gifts and letters of thanks to the representatives of the foundation for their contribution to the development of constructive dialogue and fruitful cooperation.

         - It is a great honor for us to cooperate with the Department of the penal correction system in the Abai region. The established cooperation allows us to jointly implement socially significant initiatives and projects aimed at supporting convicts and their families, providing psychological and counseling assistance, as well as facilitating their successful re-socialization and adaptation to life after release. We see the real results of this work and are convinced that combining the efforts of government agencies and civil society institutions helps to strengthen the principles of humanism, increase public confidence and form a sustainable social support system in the region," said Eldos Baizhumaev, head of the Ak-niet Public Foundation.
