The village of Kokzhota celebrated the 95th anniversary of the Zhambyl Zhabayev School. The history of this educational institution began in 1931, when the first one-story elementary school building opened in the village. A larger two-story building was later constructed in its place, becoming a center of learning and education for many generations of residents of the Samara district.
Samara District Akim Serik Zhenisov congratulated teachers, graduates, and village residents on the anniversary. In his congratulatory speech, he noted that over its 95-year history, the school has produced many outstanding residents of the district—professors, educators, athletes, and entrepreneurs—who today make the Samara district famous throughout the republic.
On this day, warm congratulations to the school were extended by graduates of various generations, visitors to the village, and residents of the Samara district.
A special event was the opening of a literature room named after Kulpash Rayysova, a native of the Samara district and a distinguished educator. Also, graduates of previous years, together with the graduates of the class of 2026, planted an Alley of Alumni near the school, which will become a symbol of the continuity of generations and respect for their native school.
