As the wise saying goes, “Cleanliness begins at the doorstep.” As part of the “Clean Kazakhstan” environmental campaign initiated by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, a large-scale community clean-up event was organized across the district today.

Residents of the district, employees of departments and institutions, veterans, and young people actively participated in the event, contributing to the cleanliness of their native land. Despite unfavorable weather conditions, participants cleaned residential areas and carried out landscaping and greening activities.

During the environmental campaign, District Akim Jandos Erkinbek delivered a speech:

“Cleanliness should begin with every individual, every home, every street, and every yard. No one from outside will come to improve and clean our land and our country for us.

In this regard, I call on all fellow residents to become initiators of good deeds and actively participate in cleanliness efforts. I also express my sincere gratitude to all residents who took part in today’s event and demonstrated great enthusiasm. Cleanliness is one of our core values. I believe that such good initiatives will continue in the future. May our country prosper and our district continue to flourish,” he said.

The district head also presented letters of appreciation to several residents who have been actively participating in community clean-up activities.

During the large-scale event, Chairman of the District Veterans Council Askar Merekov addressed the participants and shared his best wishes.

As part of the initiative aimed at beautifying the district, Jandos Erkinbek and local residents participated in a tree-planting campaign, contributing to greening efforts.
