The grand opening of a new sports complex took place in the village of Bakbakty, Balkhash district. The villagers gathered to share the joy of the significant event. The ceremony was also attended by akim of the region Marat Sultangaziev, who congratulated the villagers on the opening of a new sports facility, the press service of Akim of Almaty region reports.

The new facility was built with the personal funds of caring patrons who support the development of the village. The total area of the building is 1007.05 square meters. The complex includes a multi-purpose playground for football, basketball and volleyball, a wrestling hall for martial arts, as well as technical facilities. In addition, there is a modern outdoor training area. The sports complex is capable of hosting about 250 athletes.

Marat Sultangaziev noted that the new facility will open up additional opportunities for young people and will allow them to educate future champions who glorify the country.

"Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has repeatedly stressed: "Our youth must grow up to be healthy and strong citizens. Therefore, the development of mass sports is of particular importance for strengthening the health of the nation." The President pays special attention to the development of mass sports, the formation of a healthy lifestyle among young people and the expansion of sports infrastructure in rural areas. The sports complex opening today is a clear result of this systematic work. Many talented athletes have come out of the Balkhash region, glorifying our country. I am sure that this complex, built for rural youth, will help to raise new champions and achieve high results," said the governor of the region.

The head of the region expressed gratitude to the staff of Bereket-TK LLP, who completed the construction of the facility on time, as well as to all citizens who contributed to the implementation of the important project.

The youth and villagers noted that the new sports complex will create all conditions for year-round training, achieving high athletic results, as well as increase the interest of teenagers in sports and become an important step in promoting a healthy lifestyle.
