If you have a disability, and your individual habilitation or rehabilitation program specifies "Sanatorium-resort treatment" as the type of rehabilitation, the state will pay for your trip to a sanatorium once a year. Previously, you had to wait in line at the Akimat, but in 2026, everything will be done online. Here's a step-by-step plan:

Step 1. Visit a doctor (Form 070/u)

First, contact your general practitioner at your clinic. Say, "I need a certificate 070/u for a sanatorium."

Why is this necessary? The doctor will prescribe the appropriate treatment (for example, for joints or heart problems).

Step 2. Submit an application for the public service "Processing documents for providing individuals with disabilities and children with disabilities with spa treatment" through

1. Non-profit joint-stock company "State Corporation 'Government for Citizens'" (PSC);

2. Local executive bodies of the cities of Astana, Almaty, and Shymkent (city governments), districts, and cities of regional significance (employment and social programs departments);

3. The e-government web portal;

4. A mobile phone subscriber device.

An application is not required when applying through the proactive service.

Step 3. Log in to the "Social Services Portal"

You can choose a spa resort on the website aleumet.egov.kz.

How do I log in? The easiest way is through the eGov Mobile app on your phone (scan the QR code on the website and you're in).
Where to look? In your personal account, you'll see the "Spa Treatment" section.
Step 4. Choose the best sanatorium

You'll see a list of sanatoriums in Kazakhstan (Saryagash, Borovoe, Almaty, and others).

Check the ratings: Each sanatorium has a star rating and reviews from other people. Read them!
Check the dates: Select a convenient month for your trip.
Surcharge: If you choose a very expensive luxury sanatorium, the portal will ask you to pay a small extra fee. If you choose a standard sanatorium, everything is free.

Step 5. Receive a voucher

As soon as you click "Book," you'll receive an electronic voucher.

You don't need to print it. The sanatorium will already have your name in the system.
Just bring your ID.

Good to know (briefly):

1. How many days of vacation? The state pays for 14 days.

2. How often? You can go once a year.

3. What about accompanying persons? If the voucher is for a child with a disability, the state pays 70% of the accommodation and meals for the accompanying person (mother or father).

What should I do if I have trouble using the computer?

If you have difficulty using the internet:

Ask a relative for help.
Go to the nearest Public Service Center—they have self-service corners where consultants will help you press the necessary buttons on the portal.
Call the toll-free support line at 1414.

Tip: Good sanatoriums book up quickly, especially for the summer. It's best to apply at the beginning of the year or at the beginning of the quarter!
