The E-Commerce Goods Declaration (EGD)

In accordance with the amendments being introduced into the customs legislation of the Eurasian Economic Union and the Republic of Kazakhstan, it is planned to implement customs declaration of e-commerce goods using the E-Commerce Goods Declaration (EGD).

By Decision No. 143 of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission dated December 17, 2024, the form and procedure for completing the E-Commerce Goods Declaration were approved. In addition, by Decision No. 144 of the Board dated December 17, 2024, the structure and format of the E-Commerce Goods Declaration in the form of an electronic document were approved.

At present, the work on implementing the relevant functionality in the information systems has been completed, and the "E-Commerce Goods Declaration" (EGD) functionality has been developed in the "Keden" information system. The introduction of this functionality and the use of the EGD will commence on July 1, 2026.

In addition, a special chat has currently been launched in the Telegram application: "EGD Testing for Foreign Economic Activity Participants"

Information related to the testing process will be published in the specified chat. In this regard, interested parties (participants in e-commerce activities, postal operators, express carriers, and other participants in foreign economic activity) are invited to take part in the system testing. If any comments are identified or suggestions arise during the use of the system, they may be submitted through the specified chat.
