Today, a regular meeting chaired by District Akim Jandos Yerkinbek was held, during which issues related to tourism development, children's water safety, and the sanitary safety of food products during the summer season were discussed.

During the meeting, it was noted that special attention had been paid to tourism development at a recent meeting chaired by the Regional Akim. The inclusion of the Baikonur Cosmodrome in the country's official tourism map has created new opportunities to enhance the district’s tourism potential.

In this regard, the District Akim stated:

— We need to promote the district’s economic development through the effective use of the historical and unique sites within the Baikonur complex. Intensifying tourism development efforts and creating comfortable conditions for visitors is our shared responsibility.

Several instructions were given to responsible officials regarding the cleanliness of tourist sites and the quality of services provided to visitors.

The second issue on the agenda concerned the sanitary safety of fruits, vegetables, and melons sold during the summer season. Jandos Yerkinbek emphasized that protecting the health of residents is one of the highest priorities and instructed relevant authorities to maintain continuous monitoring of compliance with sanitary requirements.

Special attention was also given to preventing children from swimming in unauthorized water bodies. The district emergency situations department, district police department, education department, and the akims of settlements and rural districts were instructed to strengthen inspection and patrol activities and ensure the regular implementation of safety measures.

The District Akim assigned all responsible departments the task of ensuring the proper and timely execution of the instructions given.
