The Department of State Revenue for the Mangystau region, together with the Akimat of Aktau city, the Transport Control Inspectorate and the police, conducted monitoring of business entities at the pier of the seashore. The event is aimed at verifying compliance with legislation in the conduct of business activities, improving the quality of services and ensuring safety.
During the raid, DGD specialists explained to entrepreneurs (owners and operators of boats) the need to place QR codes to identify outlets and confirm the legality of their activities. The QR code allows you to quickly check the status of the taxpayer, the availability of a cash register (if necessary) and compliance with the requirements of tax legislation. This is an important digitalization tool that makes business transparent and protects both entrepreneurs and consumers.
The key points that are being highlighted:
- Legalization of activities. Everyone who provides services to the public (including boat trips) must be registered as an individual entrepreneur or a legal entity and pay taxes on time. This guarantees social guarantees, protection of rights and the possibility of business development.
- QR code for the point of sale. You can get it for free through the services of the State Revenue Committee. Placing a QR code is a simple and mandatory requirement for many types of activities.
- Documents for transportation. Drivers must have the appropriate category of license to operate a water transport. The absence of documents entails administrative liability.
- Responsibility. For violations of tax and other legislation, measures are provided in accordance with the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Kazakhstan. At the same time, the main focus is on prevention and awareness-raising.
"We continue systematic work on the legalization of entrepreneurship in the region. Legal business means not only paying taxes to the regional budget, but also confidence in the future, access to government support and protection from unfair competition. We urge all entrepreneurs, especially in the field of tourism and services on the coast, to promptly bring their activities in line with the requirements of the law," the Department noted.
Monitoring activities in this area will be continued.
The Department of State Revenue for the Mangystau region urges entrepreneurs to fulfill their tax obligations in a timely manner and work in the legal field.
