A meeting was held at the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan between the Chairperson Elvira Azimova and the Chairperson of the Economic Court of the Commonwealth of Independent States German Nurbayev.

Judge of the Constitutional Court Kanat Musin also took part in the meeting.

The parties discussed current issues of the development of legal cooperation within the CIS, the activities of constitutional oversight bodies and international judicial institutions, as well as prospects for further cooperation aimed at strengthening the rule of law and improving legal protection mechanisms.

The participants discussed the development of integration processes in the legal sphere, the exchange of experience in the field of constitutional justice, and the activities of the Eurasian Association of Constitutional Control Bodies, which unites constitutional oversight bodies of several states of the Eurasian region.

As a result of the meeting, the importance of strengthening professional dialogue between the highest judicial and constitutional institutions was emphasized in order to develop legal approaches and protect constitutional rights and freedoms.
