President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasized the significance of Kazakhstan’s participation in the Board of Peace and reaffirmed the country’s commitment to advancing constructive cooperation within the organization.

 - As one of the founding members of the Board of Peace, we believe that this institution will play an important role in promoting international peace and security, -  the President stated.

During the meeting, the parties discussed Kazakhstan’s initiatives aimed at facilitating the stabilization of the situation in the Gaza Strip, including participation in projects to restore social infrastructure, the implementation of initiatives in the fields of education and healthcare, and support for food security.

For his part, Aryeh Lightstone congratulated the President and the people of Kazakhstan on the Day of State Symbols, wishing peace and prosperity to our country. He also conveyed warm greetings from President of the United States Donald Trump to Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

The representative of the Board of Peace highly appreciated Kazakhstan’s active participation in the work of the organization and other international initiatives, including the decision to join the Abraham Accords.

The parties discussed prospects for cooperation in the transport and logistics sector, including the TRIPP initiative and interaction within the framework of the Middle Corridor. Kazakhstan’s interest in strengthening interregional connectivity and diversifying international transport routes was emphasized.

Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their mutual readiness to further deepen cooperation on a wide range of issues on the bilateral and multilateral agenda.
