This year, approximately 700 servicemen of the law enforcement troops decided to continue their service in various units of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This reflects the growing interest of young people in military service and an increasing sense of responsibility for safeguarding the security of the Motherland.

For example, in just one brigade stationed in the capital, 100 servicemen who completed their compulsory military service chose to pursue professional military careers, applying the experience they gained to further contribute to the security of the country.

At a ceremony held on the parade ground of the capital’s brigade, the servicemen who remained for contract service were congratulated by Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs and Commander-in-Chief of the National Guard, Lieutenant General Ansagan Baltabekov. During the meeting, the advantages of military service and opportunities for professional development were highlighted.

In addition, young servicemen who decided to continue their military careers were presented with keys to service housing. This measure is aimed at providing social support to servicemen and increasing their motivation for further service.

In the future, these servicemen will be appointed to responsible positions and will actively contribute to improving personnel service and military operations.

The combination of military opportunities and social support creates favorable conditions for young people to make a conscious choice in favor of a military profession. In recent years, the National Guard has been actively equipped with modern technology. New armored vehicles, advanced communication systems, and specialized equipment are raising the quality of military service to a new level.

Today, more than 7,000 National Guard servicemen help maintain public order in 21 cities across the country. In addition, over 2,000 servicemen are engaged in protecting strategically important state facilities and institutions of the penitentiary system.
