The Akim of the Kyzylorda region, Murat Ergeshbayev, met with representatives of Kazgermunay JSC. The meeting discussed issues of developing the region's oil and gas industry and implementing social projects.
The head of the region particularly noted the significant role of the company and its subsidiaries in the socio-economic development of the region.
"The joint-stock company 'KazMunayGas' is carrying out large-scale work in the Kyzylorda region, making a significant contribution to the socio-economic development of the region. I am confident that, based on effective partnership, we will continue to jointly implement important projects and strengthen our cooperation",- said Murat Nalkhozhaevich. The meeting highly appreciated the work carried out by the company within the framework of social responsibility. In particular, the 'House of Schoolchildren' built with the sponsorship support of 'Kazgermunay' at a cost of 2.5 billion tenge now serves for the benefit of children.
Furthermore, infrastructure projects in the oil and gas sector were discussed. In 2022, a memorandum was signed between major oil companies in the region and the Ministry of Energy on gas supply to the gas processing plant of 'Kazgermunay' at the 'Southern Aksay' field.
Now, the partnerships of 'Kazpetrol Group' and 'Tuzkol Munaygaz Operating' have completed the pipeline construction and started gas supplies. This will increase the volume of processed gas and have a positive impact on the development of the region's economy.
