As part of the celebrations marking June 1 – International Children’s Day, District Akim Jandos Yerkinbek visited the Karmakshy District Psychological and Pedagogical Correction Office, a municipal public institution, and congratulated the children on the holiday.

The meaningful event was attended by Askar Merekov, Chairman of the District Veterans Council; education veterans Dameli Zhalgasbayeva and Talmash Zhumabayeva; law enforcement veteran Eset Nazarkulov; and parent Badirsha Ragibov. They shared their heartfelt wishes and words of encouragement with the children.

Addressing the gathering, the District Akim said:

“Providing comprehensive support to children and ensuring access to quality education are among our key priorities. This work will continue in the future,” he noted before presenting holiday gifts to the children.

For more than 20 years, the institution has been providing corrective-developmental, rehabilitation, and social adaptation services to children and adolescents with special educational needs from birth to 18 years of age. Currently, nearly 60 children receive specialized services and support at the center.

It is worth noting that last year, with the support of the District Akim, the institution was relocated to a new building, creating modern and comfortable conditions for the children.
