Representatives of Kazakhstan successfully competed at international tournaments in Slovenia, winning medals in gymnastics and archery. Olympic silver medalist Nariman Kurbanov and Zeynolla Idrissov performed in the finals of the Gymnastics Challenge Cup in Koper. Following the results of the competition, Zeynolla Idrissov rose to the second step of the podium and won a silver medal, confirming the high level of the Kazakh gymnastics school. Kazakh archers performed no less successfully at the Veronica's Cup international tournament in Kamnik. In the men's classical archery competition, Ilfat Abdullin became the winner of the tournament, defeating Indian representative Sachin Gupta in the final and winning the gold medal. The women's block archery team consisting of Victoria Lyan, Roksana Yunusova and Adel Zheksenbinova brought another award to the national team of Kazakhstan. In the match for the third place, the Kazakh women defeated the Luxembourg national team and became the bronze medalists of the tournament. Successful performances of Kazakhstani athletes in the international arena confirm the high level of training of national teams and strengthen Kazakhstan's position in world sports.
