Ulaanbaatar, May 29, 2026 – The Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Mongolia hosted a festive event to mark International Children’s Day, welcoming around 40 children from one of Ulaanbaatar’s kindergartens.

As part of the program, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Mongolia, Almas Seitakynov, addressed the young guests with welcoming remarks and introduced them to Kazakhstan in an engaging and accessible manner. He noted that the enduring friendship between the two brotherly nations is strengthened not only through political dialogue, but also through mutual respect between their peoples. In this regard, he underlined the importance of introducing younger generations to the culture, history and traditions of both countries from an early age.

The children were shown a special video about Kazakhstan. In addition, a festive dastarkhan was arranged to acquaint the young guests with Kazakh national traditions and cuisine. The event was further enriched by the performance of traditional Kazakh kui and songs.
