The East Kazakhstan Regional Scientific and Methodological Center for Informatization and Development of Education "Örken" of the Education Department of the East Kazakhstan Region has summarized the results of the charity campaign "From Heart to Heart," dedicated to Children's Day. The campaign is held annually from March 1 to June 1, starting from 2016. Over the 11 years of the campaign, more than 28,000 wishes have been fulfilled.

The essence of the campaign is that every child from low-income, large families can write a letter with a request, a cherished wish, which patrons and caring citizens could fulfill.

This year, during the campaign, 2,916 wish letters from children and adolescents with special educational needs, from large and low-income families, guardian families where guardians are grandparents, as well as those whose parents are disabled, were fulfilled.

In their letters, the young residents of East Kazakhstan expressed a wide variety of requests. Their cherished wishes were to have a doll, a bicycle, skates, skis, a jacket, a construction set, sneakers, a beautiful dress, chalk and paints, school supplies, etc.

The children's requests were fulfilled with the active sponsorship support of commercial and a number of other organizations, peasant farms, representatives of medium and small businesses, individual entrepreneurs, and caring residents of the region. Employees of state bodies and educational institutions also took part in this campaign.

With the help of the residents of our region, the young residents of East Kazakhstan received various gifts. All the children's requests were fulfilled. The most active sponsors were awarded letters of gratitude.
