Seoul, 2026 – Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Korea Asset Issenali held a meeting with Kim Bokhwan, President of Korea Overseas Infrastructure & Urban Development Corporation (KIND). During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for further cooperation in the development of the new city of Alatau City, as well as cooperation in transport and logistics infrastructure and the implementation of joint investment projects.

The sides reviewed in detail possible areas of Korean participation in the further development of the Alatau City project, including master planning, the development of pilot districts, investment attraction, the introduction of advanced Korean smart city solutions, digital infrastructure, and modern urban development approaches.

Special attention was given to the prospects of building a long-term strategic partnership with KIND as a systematic partner in the development and implementation of infrastructure and real estate development projects in Kazakhstan.
