A capsule-laying ceremony for the glass container plant of the "Seven Rivers" company took place in Kyzylorda, with the participation of the region's Akim Murat Ergeshbayev, the founder of the "Seven Rivers" partnership Anuar Umbetayev, heads of law enforcement agencies, directors of construction companies, representatives of the intelligentsia, and elders.
This is one of the important production initiatives aimed at developing the glass cluster in the region. The plant will be equipped with world-class German "Horn" technology and will produce modern products that meet environmental requirements.
At the ceremony, the regional Akim noted the intensive implementation of investment projects in the region.
"Last week, I was at a meeting with the Head of State and presented investment projects. Our President gave specific instructions regarding the continuation of work in this direction.
The recently appointed First Deputy Prime Minister Nurlybek Mashbekuly, during his tenure leading the region, attracted investments exceeding 2.3 trillion tenge into the regional economy. Over the next three years, it is planned to implement 48 investment projects worth 1.9 trillion tenge and create more than 10 thousand new jobs.
Just last week, we opened the wagon repair and maintenance complex of the "Maral Nur" partnership. Today, we have laid the capsule for the high-tech plant of the Spanish company "Roca Group," which will produce up to 500 thousand units of sanitary ware per year.
I am confident that these new production facilities, important for our country and region, will give a new impetus to economic diversification and improve the quality of life for our residents",- said Murat Nalkhozhauly. At the event, the regional prosecutor Rizabek Ozharov, the founder of the "Seven Rivers" partnership Anuar Umbetayev, and the statesman and public figure Bigali Kayupov gave their speeches and blessings.
It is worth noting that within the framework of the Kazakh-German business forum, a memorandum on cooperation development was signed, and an agreement was reached to build a plant for the production of 240 million units of glass containers per year, worth 60 billion tenge. The enterprise is expected to create more than 500 new jobs.
A land plot of 38 hectares has been allocated for the plant in the "Production" industrial zone, where all engineering infrastructure has been completed. The financing issue is being considered within the framework of the "Zhasyl Damu" program of the Industrial Development Fund. The production of competitive products and import substitution is expected through the processing of glass waste collected within the country.
Furthermore, the effective use of high-quality reserves of quartz sand, lime, and dolomite in the region will allow for the development of new related enterprises around the glass production.
The new production is expected to contribute to increasing the region's industrial potential, growing export volumes, and providing the population with stable employment.
