Akim of the region Murat Ergeshbayev met with the head of the administration of the city of Baikonur, Konstantin Busygin. The meeting discussed issues of developing the social and engineering infrastructure of the city of Baikonur.
The head of the region noted that, as a result of the joint work of state bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation, important projects are being implemented step by step at the Baikonur complex.
At the beginning of the year, five residential buildings with 50 apartments each were commissioned in the city of Baikonur. Currently, the modernization of water supply and sewerage systems is underway. The project will increase the reliability of utility infrastructure and improve the quality of services provided to the population.
Furthermore, the construction of a sports and recreation complex is nearing completion, and the facility is planned to be commissioned in July.
Work is underway to transfer the building of school No. 7 to the jurisdiction of the regional education department with the aim of opening a mixed school according to the educational standard of the Republic of Kazakhstan, starting from the next academic year.
At the meeting, the parties expressed interest in continuing mutually beneficial cooperation in the future and implementing joint projects aimed at improving the quality of life of the city's residents.
