Today, a delegation from the region, led by the head of the region Murat Ergeshbayev, went on a working trip to the city of Astana, where they familiarized themselves with the work of the recently opened international artificial intelligence center "Alem AI".
The General Director of the international technopark "Astana Hub", Magzhan Madiev, presented the main directions and infrastructure of the center. The delegation members inspected the unique eight-level ecosystem that unites innovative projects in the field of artificial intelligence.
It is worth noting that Murat Ergeshbayev is the first among regional heads to specially visit this unique center.
The center houses immersive exhibitions and interactive spaces dedicated to the world of artificial intelligence, the "TUMO Astana" program aimed at developing teenagers' technological skills, Kazakhstan's first artificial intelligence school "Tomorrow School", an AI campus for conducting scientific research and supporting startups, as well as laboratories of international technology companies.
The meeting discussed issues of using digital technologies and artificial intelligence in the implementation of projects in the region. Currently, systematic work is underway at the regional technopark "Kyzylorda Hub" to support innovative projects, develop the local IT community, and enhance the digital skills of youth.
During the working trip, issues related to the implementation of joint initiatives in the fields of digitalization and artificial intelligence, and the exchange of experience were also discussed.
Furthermore, the regional akim familiarized himself with the capabilities of monitoring urban infrastructure, data analysis, and coordinating the work of city services in real-time at the Astana Smart City project's Situation Center.
An artificial intelligence-based platform designed for managing urban processes and ensuring interaction between various departments was also demonstrated.
The Astana Smart City project aims to create a new generation of intelligent infrastructure that allows for efficient and safe city management.
