Due to the increasing number of internet fraud cases, citizens are reminded of the importance of following digital security rules.

Modern fraudsters actively use phone calls, messaging applications, social media platforms, fake websites, and artificial intelligence technologies to deceive people. Criminals may impersonate representatives of government agencies, banks, law enforcement authorities, or telecommunications operators in an attempt to obtain personal data, bank card details, SMS verification codes, and other confidential information.

To avoid becoming a victim of fraud, it is recommended to:

• Never share SMS verification codes, passwords, or bank card details with third parties;
• Do not transfer money at the request of unknown individuals;
• Avoid clicking on suspicious links;
• Verify information through official sources;
• Do not provide your bank cards or bank accounts to other persons;
• Immediately contact law enforcement authorities if you suspect fraudulent activity.

Please note that employees of government agencies and financial institutions do not request personal data, bank account details, or verification codes over the phone.

We encourage all citizens to remain vigilant, follow digital security measures, and inform family members and friends about existing fraud schemes.
