In order to implement financial control measures, the persons defined in this article shall submit the following declarations of individuals:
-declaration of assets and liabilities;
-income and property declaration.

The declaration of assets and liabilities is presented by:
- candidates for President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, deputies of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan and maslikhats, akims of districts, cities of regional significance, cities of district significance, towns, villages, rural districts, as well as members of elected local governments and their spouses – before registering as a candidate;
- persons who are candidates for a public position or a position related to the performance of state or equivalent functions, and their spouses, with the exception of the persons specified in subparagraph 1) of this paragraph, until the issuance of an act of an official (body) authorized to appoint to the position, on appointment to the position (as of on the first day of the month of submission of the declaration).

The declaration of income and property is submitted by:
- persons holding responsible government positions and their spouses;
- persons authorized to perform government functions and their spouses;
- officials and their spouses;
- persons equated to persons authorized to perform state functions and their spouses.
