The ceremony for handing over keys to 11 units of modern firefighting and specially equipped light automotive equipment to civil defense personnel was attended by the region's akim Murat Ergeshbayev, the Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Lieutenant General Shyngys Arinov, heads of law enforcement agencies, and elders.
During the ceremony, the region's akim noted that supporting the sector is one of the state's important priorities.

Civil defense agencies are one of the important structures in our country, carrying out work aimed at preventing and eliminating emergency situations. Their main task is to ensure the safety of the population, risking their own lives.
Today, in accordance with the instructions of our President and Government, support measures are being systematically implemented. We will continue work in this direction.

At the ceremonial event, Shyngys Arinov delivered a speech, and personnel tirelessly working in the field of emergency situations, as well as industry veterans, were awarded Letters of Appreciation from the region's akim and awards from the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
To conclude the event, the head of the region and the Minister of Emergency Situations ceremoniously handed over keys to the new equipment and passenger cars, and also familiarized themselves with the work of Fire Station No. 6.
It is worth noting that the day before, in the rural districts of Kamystybas in the Aral region and Zhankozha batyr in the Kazaly region, new fire stations were opened as part of the republican program «Rural Rescuers».
