Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Lieutenant General Shyngys Arinov, who arrived in the Kyzylorda region on a working visit, and Deputy Akim of the region Bakhyt Zhakhanov participated in the opening ceremony of fire stations built within the framework of the republican program "Rural Rescuers" in the Kamystybas rural district of the Aral region and the Zhankozha batyr rural district of the Kazaly region.
The goal of the republican program "Rural Rescuers" is to create a system of prompt and effective assistance in remote settlements that do not have fire services. Considering the natural conditions and remoteness, timely response to the safety of residents is extremely important. Today, within the framework of this program, 35 stations have been built in the region.
Shyngys Arinov spoke at the ceremony. Then, the Deputy Akim of the region emphasized the importance of fire stations in preventing emergencies and ensuring the safety of residents.
"In the Kyzylorda region, in accordance with the instructions of the President and the Government, special priority is given to improving the field of civil protection, strengthening measures to prevent emergencies, and enhancing the material-technical base and personnel potential. Today we are opening fire stations in the villages of Kamystybas and Zhankozha batyr of Aral and Kazaly.
In general, preventing emergencies and saving human lives is a high and responsible mission. Risking one's own life for the safety of the country and the tranquility of society is not something everyone can do. On behalf of all residents of the region, I express my deep gratitude to the employees tirelessly working in this field! May modern equipment serve for the benefit of the country",- said Bakhyt Duisenuly. At the solemn ceremony, those who contributed to the opening of the fire station and employees conscientiously working in the field of civil protection were awarded Letters of Appreciation from the regional Akim and awards from the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
In rural areas, the first minutes during an emergency play a decisive role. Today, voluntary fire stations "Rural Rescuers" are operating in our country, uniting volunteers who have undergone special training. These are village residents who act before the arrival of professional Emergency Situations Ministry forces and take initial measures.
The selection and training of volunteers are carried out in accordance with established requirements. Within the framework of the departmental program, they undergo theoretical and practical training, learn to work with fire equipment, and provide first aid.
In case of an emergency, they act first, assess the situation, conduct fire containment measures within their capabilities, transmit information via radio communication, and call professional firefighters.
In the region, in 2023-2025, for a sum exceeding 2 billion tenge, 17 units of fire equipment, 4 specially equipped passenger cars, 90 digital radio communication systems, and more than 50 units of special equipment were purchased.
This year, it is planned to purchase 20 fire trucks for 2.8 billion tenge. The new equipment will soon be put into operation for the benefit of the country.
