The regional akim Murat Ergeshbayev, the Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Lieutenant General Shyngys Arinov, heads of law enforcement agencies, and representatives of the intelligentsia took part in the opening ceremony of another fire station built under the republican program "Rural Rescuers" in the Karaultobe rural district.
During the event, the regional akim highlighted the ongoing work to enhance the technical capacity of the Emergency Situations Service and ensure the safety of residents.
"The safety of the population in settlements remote from regional and district centers is extremely important. In this regard, yesterday, the Minister of Emergency Situations Shyngys Sayranuly commissioned fire stations built under the 'Rural Rescuers' program in the Kamystybas and Zhankozha Batyr rural districts of the Aral and Kazaly districts.
Today, we are officially launching the fire station built under this program in Karaultobe. Furthermore, we have provided 11 modern firefighting and specially equipped passenger vehicles for the service personnel in the city of Kyzylorda and the Kazaly and Shiely districts.
In the region, from 2023 to 2025, over 2 billion tenge was allocated to purchase 17 units of firefighting equipment, 4 specially equipped passenger vehicles, 90 digital radio communication systems, and more than 50 units of special equipment. This year, it is planned to purchase 20 fire trucks for 2.8 billion tenge. The new equipment will be delivered soon. This is significant support for the emergency service personnel of our region",- said Murat Nalkhozhauly. At the opening ceremony, Shyngys Arinov and elder Amankeldi Dosmakhanuly spoke, and those who contributed to the opening of the fire station, as well as service personnel diligently working in the field of civil protection, were awarded Letters of Appreciation from the regional akim and awards from the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
Afterward, Shyngys Sayranuly met with the Emergency Situations Service personnel. He visited the "Batyr Kids Team" sports hall for teenagers and the department building renovated using saved funds. He also familiarized himself with the emergency rescue squad unit and observed their logistical conditions.
It is worth noting that the goal of the republican program "Rural Rescuers" is to create a system of prompt and effective assistance in remote settlements lacking fire services. To date, 35 stations have been built in the region under this program. The stations are equipped with 25 fire trucks, 12 trailers, 8 portable and 2 stationary radio stations, firefighting equipment, and protective gear.
