Brasília, June 16, 2026 - The Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Brazil, Bolat Nussupov, visited the Embassy of Bolivia and met with the Chargé d’Affaires of Bolivia, Álvaro Eduardo Pardo Garvizu.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and future prospects of Kazakhstan-Bolivia relations, with particular emphasis on strengthening political dialogue, expanding trade and economic cooperation, and enhancing collaboration in the international sphere. They also exchanged views on the implementation of the agreements reached following the meeting between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Yermek Kosherbayev, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bolivia, Aramayo Carrasco, held in Antalya on April 19, 2026, on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.

For his part, Álvaro Eduardo Pardo Garvizu reaffirmed Bolivia’s commitment to further strengthening friendly relations with Kazakhstan, emphasizing the importance of maintaining regular dialogue between the diplomatic missions of the two countries as a key element of political and economic cooperation.

In addition, the parties discussed the candidacy of prominent Bolivian businessman Jorge Ormachea for the position of Honorary Consul of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Bolivia. At the conclusion of the meeting, they agreed to maintain regular working-level contacts between the embassies of the two countries.
