On September 17, 2026, a round table on “Current Issues of Customs Legislation” was held at the Department of State Revenues of the East Kazakhstan Region.

The event was attended by employees of the Department of State Revenues of the East Kazakhstan Region, participants in foreign economic activity, as well as interested business representatives.

During the round table, current issues concerning the application of customs legislation were discussed, including:

- the procedure for completing and extending the period of customs transit;

- the procedure for entering information into the “Export” information system regarding goods declarations;

- specific aspects of completing a goods declaration;

- practical issues arising in the course of customs operations.

Particular attention was paid to explaining the procedures for carrying out customs formalities and discussing issues encountered by participants in foreign economic activity in their day-to-day practice.

In a question-and-answer format, participants received clarifications on matters of customs administration that were of interest to them.

The organization of such events contributes to improving the legal awareness of participants in foreign economic activity, enhancing cooperation between government authorities and businesses, and ensuring compliance with the requirements of customs legislation.

Following the round table, participants were provided with relevant clarifications and recommendations regarding the application of customs legislation.
