Visited and Reviewed the Activities of a Farm in Akzhar Village

Today, Regional Akim Murat Ergeshbayev and Chairman of the Regional Maslikhat Murat Tleumbetov visited the Karmakshy District and reviewed the operations of the Shakizada Farm located in Akzhar Village.
The farm was established in 2005. Currently, it cultivates 50 hectares of rice, 77 hectares of established alfalfa, 0.5 hectares of melons and gourds, and 70 hectares of grain corn. The farm provides permanent employment for five people.
This year, agricultural crops in Karmakshy District have been planted on a total area of 25,130 hectares. To support spring fieldwork, 1,611.5 tons of subsidized diesel fuel were allocated to 21 agricultural enterprises.
Water-saving technologies are being implemented on 600 hectares of farmland, including drip irrigation on 19 hectares and sprinkler irrigation on 581 hectares of fodder crops.
Under the collective gardening project, it is planned to allocate 420 hectares of land to 960 families. To date, 260 hectares of melon crops, 63 hectares of vegetables, and 97 hectares of potatoes have been planted.
It is worth noting that agricultural crops have been planted on a total of 185,800 hectares across the region this year.
In accordance with the instructions of the Head of State, the area devoted to rice cultivation has been reduced by 10,900 hectares compared to the previous year.
The following early-season crops have been planted:
7,541 hectares of safflower;
415 hectares of spring barley;
4,338 hectares of spring wheat;
21,394 hectares of new alfalfa;
428 hectares of sweet sorghum;
873 hectares of Sudan grass;
409 hectares of silage corn;
373 hectares of soybeans;
120 hectares of fodder pumpkin;
326 hectares of millet;
1,338 hectares of potatoes;
6,687 hectares of vegetables;
8,501 hectares of melon and gourd crops.
